We already know that Microsoft has something big planned for later this month, and now we have details on how to watch the company's big reveal.

Microsoft has posted the live streaming video link for the event, which will be on February 24, a day when many expect the company to reveal the new HoloLens 2 device.

Part of the speculation around that reveal is the fact that HoloLens inventor Alex Kipman will be on hand at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain to help host the major event.

There's also a good deal of chatter in the developer community regarding early looks at the device. Of course, most of those people are sworn to secrecy, but as the months pass, more and more details about the device leak out.

Will this change the augmented reality market in general, or perhaps just the enterprise space? Will the release of the HoloLens 2 greatly impact the fortunes of the Magic Leap One, which is just now finding its footing in the market after being available for less than a year? It's difficult to know without getting all the details that may be available in just under a week, but Microsoft doesn't usually stream an event unless there's big news involved, so buckle up.

Next Reality will be on hand to deliver all the details that come out of the major Microsoft event in Barcelona, but you can also watch along with us on Feb. 24 at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET.
